We use Canada Post to ship parcels to Canadian customers.

Xpresspost and Expedited Parcel include the following delivery features if available in your delivery area.

On-time Delivery Guarantee
Canada Post offers replacement service or credit equivalent to the shipping charges, if the sender’s shipment is not delivered on time, as measured against the published delivery standards, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

Tracking and Delivery Confirmation
Blue Igloo will provide a tracking number(s) that will allow you to view the progress of your parcel(s) delivery process on the Canada Post website.

Delivery Updates
Can be viewed on the Canada Post website using the tracking number(s) provided by Blue Igloo described above.

Liability Coverage (up to $100)
The item(s) you purchase when sent by Xpresspost or Expedited Parcel are automatically insured for a value up to $100*.
* Item purchases with a value higher then $100 will be insured for their full value.

In the unlikely event your item(s) arrive damaged or are lost in transit Canada Post will issue a credit to Blue Igloo for the value (your purchase total + shipping costs) indicated on the original shipment bill.
Blue Igloo uses the credit to cover the costs associated with sending a replacement item(s) or issuing a refund to you.

Ensures that a personal hand-off of the parcel(s) occurs at delivery, and that there is proof of this activity.

The name of the person signing is recorded as well as the signature.

If there is no answer at the door, the delivery agent will leave a Delivery Notice Card in the addressee’s mail receptacle that directs the addressee to the designated post office to pick up the item.
* Only the addressee or their authorized representative can pick up an item with Signature at the post office.

Do Not Safe Drop
This option only changes the delivery process for items where a delivery attempt is made at the door. The item will be left in the addressee’s mail receptacle. If the item does not fit, a delivery attempt will be made at the door. If no one is available to receive the item, a Delivery Notice Card will be left, and the addressee will be able to pick up the item at the designated post office*.
